I ordered my regular shoe size, the rather uncommon 10.5W, and these shoes were a perfect, comfortable fit right out of the box. My only complaint is that the second time I put these shoes on, one of the straps pulled right out from where it was sewn on. But this isn't really a problem; I knew when I bought them that I would replace those pink straps with black ones.
I am an organist, not a dancer, and I bought these shoes for playing the organ pedals. I have never been really satisfied with the fit of the "Organmaster" brand shoes. It takes awhile to break them in, and the leather tends to stretch out too much, making for a sloppy fit which affects my pedal technique. I won't have this problem with these shoes since they have a fabric upper. And as someone who is interested in minimizing the use of animal products, I like the fact that these shoes are mostly man-made.
